As a solo act, switching between trumpet & singing, Avelia performs with her own backing tracks. She regularly updates her repertoire, adding new tunes and tweaking backing tracks.

Performances are a compelling mix of jazz standards and other well-known songs, alongside her own original music when appropriate. Avelia is happy to tailor the material she performs to suit your venue/situation ? please note that any specific requests or requirements must be discussed at the time of booking. If budget allows, Avelia is always delighted to work as a duo with pianist, and this can be further augmented to a trio (including bass), or to a larger band, on request.

Avelia has extensive experience as a freelance trumpet player, in many diverse genres – musicals, function bands, jazz, funk, Latin, soca & many more – working in a wide variety of bands and venues, and as such is delighted to be booked to join an existing band for a one-off event, or more regularly.
